I work on systems where the data is fragmented, definitions differ between teams and the useful product is not obvious at the start. These examples show the question, my part in it and what changed.

Public health monitoring

I designed and built the technical product for a regional monitoring programme. The 22-page dashboard brings together more than 100 measures from four source systems with different definitions, structures and release processes.
The work included data access, indicator definitions, review with domain experts and the Power BI implementation.
Outcome: the governing board approved one product with traceable sources and agreed definitions, rather than a collection of disconnected reports.

Home entertainment supply-chain data

I worked on data management and supply-chain analysis for the EMEA Home Entertainment division. I rebuilt SQL and SAP/BW data processes and developed tools for forecasting, validation and reporting.
Contribution: repeatable data processes and checks for work that had to cross systems, markets and reporting cycles.

The safety plan that created a cyclist queue
An approved traffic plan would have queued cyclists beside an active lifting zone. A discrete-event simulation made the conflict visible before work started and helped the contractor, municipality and safety authority agree on a safer operating plan.

A digital twin of Mexico's largest airport
Simulation and predictive modelling for airport operations, capacity studies and European research programmes. My MSc thesis from this period used a digital twin to examine operations at Mexico's largest airport.
